Our Website uses cookies for web security reasons and in order to track some technical data for optimal use of these pages. These technical data are collected and stored anonymously.

What is a Cookie?

A cookie, either temporary or persistent, is a small file that is saved in your computer. Typically, websites use cookies to enhance your experience of download times and logging in.

When you visit the Remos website, we use cookies to measure the traffic on the website. We use the information to enhance our website, adjust our offers and increase our customer service.

Blocking cookies

Most browsers allow you to refuse to accept cookies. For example:

  1. in Internet Explorer you can refuse all cookies by clicking “Tools”, “Internet Options”, “Privacy”, and selecting “Block all cookies” using the sliding selector;
  2. in Firefox you can block all cookies by clicking “Tools”, “Options”, and un-checking “Accept cookies from sites” in the “Privacy” box.
  3. in Google Chrome you can adjust your cookie permissions by clicking “Options”, “Under the hood”, Content Settings in the “Privacy” section. Click on the Cookies tab in the Content Settings.
  4. in Safari you can block cookies by clicking “Preferences”, selecting the “Privacy” tab and “Block cookies”.

Blocking all cookies will, however, have a negative impact upon the usability of many websites. If you block cookies, you may not be able to use certain features on the website (log on, access content, use search functions).

Deleting cookies

You can also delete cookies already stored on your computer:

  1. in Internet Explorer, you must manually delete cookie files;
  2. in Firefox, you can delete cookies by, first ensuring that cookies are to be deleted when you “clear private data” (this setting can be changed by clicking “Tools”, “Options” and “Settings” in the “Private Data” box) and then clicking “Clear private data” in the “Tools” menu.
  3. in Google Chrome you can adjust your cookie permissions by clicking “Options”, “Under the hood”, Content Settings in the “Privacy” section. Click on the Cookies tab in the Content Settings.
  4. in Safari you can delete cookies by clicking “Preferences”, selecting the “Privacy” tab and “Remove All Website Data”.

Obviously, doing this may have a negative impact on the usability of many websites.

Name of the Cookie: wordfence_verifiedHuman (Wordfence)
Usage:wordfence_verifiedHuman – Wordfence Cookie used to verify if the visitor is a bot or human.
Duration: 1 session

Name of the Cookie: cookie_notice_accepted
Usage: This cookie is used by the plugin Cookie Notice from dFactory that created the banner at the bottom of the page to inform the user about the usage of cookies.
Duration: 30 Days

Name of the Cookie: _atuvc
Usage: The __atuvc cookie is created and read by the site´s JavaScript to share the AddThis of the Client in order to assure that the user have the updated recount when sharing a website and come back later to that web before updating the cache that counts the actions. No data is sent to the AddThis, disabling cookies might cause unexpected behaviour for users.
Duration: 12 months from last visit

Youtube (Third Party Cookies)
Names of the Cookies: Consent, PREF, JSC, 1P_JAR, VISITOR_INFO1_LIVE, NID, IDE
Usage: These cookies are used by Youtube to gather information on the usage videos, hosted by youtube.
Duration: differs, from 1 session up to two years

Google (Third Party Cookies)
Names of the Cookies: 1P_JAR, CONSENT, NID
1P_JAR: Used to gather website statistics, and track conversion rates.
CONSENT: google.ie
IDE: Used by Google DoubleClick to register and report the website user’s actions after viewing or clicking one of the advertiser’s ads with the purpose of measuring the efficacy of an ad and to present targeted ads to the user.
NID: The NID cookie contains a unique ID Google uses to remember your preferences and other information, such as your preferred language (e.g. English), how many search results you wish to have shown per page (e.g. 10 or 20), and whether or not you wish to have Google’s SafeSearch filter turned on.
